A winning record was in the bag for me last week... until the Eagles defense decided to lay an egg and ruin what looked like a safe pick. I can live with a 2-3 start, I just have to remind myself to never bet on the 40 year old diva/ QB Brett Favre again. With all that being said here's what's in store for this week.
NCAA Picks
Arizona - 7 over California - Arizona looked great last week in their upset win over #9 Iowa. Cal on the other hand got destroyed by Nevada last weekend 52-31 . Cal does put up a lot of points, but the Arizona defense should be able to step up and pull out a victory.
Arizona 10 Cal 9 L
Alabama -7 over Arkansas -This is definitely going to be the best game of the weekend including NFL games as well. If Alabama's defense isn't prepared for Arkansas' Heisman Trophy candidate Ryan Mallet, this pick is not going to be a winning one. Arkansas defense has their hands full as well with the unlimited options Alabama seems to have at every position. Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide roll again.
Alabama 24 Arkansas 20 L
NFL Picks
Giants - 3 over Titans - I have to admit I do not trust the Giants a whole lot when it comes to picking winners, but I don't trust what seems like a circus going on in Tennessee either. Vince Young looks shaky yet again and Chris Johnson only ran for 32 yards last week vs. the Steelers. Take the Giants.
Tennessee 29 New York 10 L
49ers - 2.5 over Chiefs - I'm not buying into the Chiefs for one second. The 49ers beat themselves Monday Night vs. the defending Super Bowl Champs New Orleans Saints by turning the ball over 4 TIMES. I can't possibly imagine this team starting the year 0-3. 49ers by double digits.
Kansas City 31 San Fran 10 L
Lock of the Week
Cardinals - 4 over Raiders - The Raiders are poor in every aspect of their organization. They don't have a clue about who they want their starting QB to be, to go along with a defense that looks like they play blindfolded. The Cardinals should have a field day in this one.
Cardinals 24 Oakland 23 L

I like the format so far, pretty easy to follow and I like your 'Lock of the Week' concept.
