Week 4 Picks

NCAA Picks

Notre Dame -2.5 over BC -  Although Notre Dame's record isn't to good ( 1-3), each loss has come from a team ranked in the Top 25 in the country. BC's offense is pretty lackluster this year which makes me feel a lot better about this pick. Notre Dame on the road take this rivalry game by a tight margin.

 Notre Dame 31                                        BC 13                          W

Arizona State +4 over Oregon St  - Very tough matchup but in the end Arizona State has the speed advantage that could give Oregon State a real problem. Both teams put up a ton of points so expect an exciting one for sure. Take ASU with the points.

 Oregon St 31                                       Arizona State 28              W

 NFL Picks

Bengals-3 over Browns - The Browns don't have a single player on offense or defense worth getting excited about. Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco did a lot of talking in the off-season saying how great there team was going to be this year, well if that's the case then they should have no problem beating this team by a field goal.

 Browns 23                                        Bengals 20                         L

Ravens + 1.5 over Steelers - Ravens are on the road in this one, but I can't possibly see Steelers QB Charlie Batch having a good game versus a relentless Ravens defense. The Ravens have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball especially after acquiring WR Anquan Boldin in the off-season. The Ravens will hand the Steelers their first loss this week.

 Ravens 17                                        Steelers 14                       W

 Lock of the Week

Oklahoma State -3 over Texas A&M - Oklahoma State is at home, and they average 57 ppg. I don't care if they were playing  high school teams, 57 points a game is mind-blowing. Texas A&M does not have the fire power to keep up with this team. Take OK ST giving three.

Oklahoma State 38                               Texas A&M 35         T

  1. I enjoyed reading all of this but could you explain what the spread, it seems a little confusing.

What are you talking about Texas A&M’s offensive is full of fire power just look at the stats from the game. Their offensive controlled this game all over the board. Yes they don’t have a flashy college spread offensive, but they have a real nice pro style offensive. Watch out for Texas A&M in the near future Mike Sherman has them going in the right direction. They only lost this game because of stupid mistakes from a young QB in a hostile environment.

Also the Browns do have players to be excited about. On offensive Peyton Hills has come out of nowhere and is 9th in the league in rushing. He is a beast! On special teams/ offensive they have Joshua “Pay Da Man” Cribbs who is always a threat no matter what position he plays. On Defensive they have a future star in rookie CB Joe Haden. Regardless though the Browns do suck and anyone playing them is almost a guaranteed win.

    Good Picks this week.
